Over the years, Apple has greatly expanded the Health app on iPhone, adding ways to track weight, fitness, and more . . Earlier this year, we highlighted the best smart scales for syncing your weight with your iPhone. And with iPadOS 17, the Health app is now available on iPad.
Another measurement that can be integrated with the Apple Health app is blood pressure. Here are some of the options on the market for syncing your blood pressure with the Health app on your iPhone.
How it works
HealthKit is a platform offered by Apple that allows third-party developers to integrate data into the Health app. For example, calorie tracking apps can share data with the Health app to track nutrition, smart scales can sync data with the Health app to track your weight, and much more.
The goal of the Apple Health app is to be universal. a repository of all your health-related data, including combining Apple Watch data with data from third-party apps, your healthcare provider, and more. This makes it easy to see trends over time, improvements, and more for all your health data.

Withings
Knowing that high blood pressure runs in my family, I knew I needed to start control it. And knowing myself, I knew that I needed something as simple as possible, where data would be recorded automatically with minimal effort. For this reason, I prefer Withings BPM Connect.
Withings BPM Connect is available on Amazon for just under $130 and provides integration with the Withings Health Mate app and Apple Health. It syncs data to your iPhone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and is extremely reliable, and I've been using it for a long time. It charges via microUSB and lasts up to six months on a single charge.
If I had one feature request, it would be that Withings would switch to USB-C for charging. This is pretty much the only product in my house that I still need a micro-USB cable to charge.
Withings says BPM Connect is FDA approved and meets European medical device standards. In all my tests, I found it to be accurate, reliable, and intuitive. It can also support multiple users with the Health Mate app for use by the whole family.
As I expected, monitoring my blood pressure more regularly led me to realize that I needed to work on lowering it, both through medication and lifestyle changes. As such, I expect Withings BPM Connect to remain a staple of my setup for years to come.
Plus, you can easily pair it with Withings Body+ smart scales for seamless integration between Withings and Apple Health.

Qardio
Qardio is another premium health accessories maker, and its wireless QardioArm blood pressure monitor is sleek and easy to use. use the option with Apple Health integration. Priced at under $99, it's a cheaper alternative to the Withings BPM Connect and is ideal for those already immersed in the Qardio ecosystem.
The biggest downside of the Qardio Smart Blood Pressure Cuff is that it doesn't. Doesn't offer Wi-Fi support for synchronization. Instead, you rely entirely on Bluetooth, which in my experience can be a little finickier than a Wi-Fi connection.
QardioArm has Apple Health integration, up to one year of battery life with “frequent use” ” and uses AAA batteries. I have used several Qardio accessories in the past and can definitely recommend this company.
