Apple today announced that it has retested the batteries in all iPhone 15 models and determined they are capable of meeting higher demands.
In a support document updated today, Apple says that iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max batteries are designed to retain 80% battery charge. their initial capacity is 1,000 full charge cycles under ideal conditions, compared to the 500 charge cycles advertised for all older iPhone models.
Apple told MacRumors that its latest testing of iPhone 15 models involved charging and discharging the battery. 1000 times under certain conditions, but no exact details of the process are reported. Apple added that it is continually improving iPhone battery components and power management.
This discovery means that iPhone 15 models may take longer to reduce their maximum battery capacity to 80% compared to previous models. iPhone models.
