The first update to the Apple Vision Pro operating system is now available

Apple has made VisionOS 1.0.1 available as a day one update for Apple Vision Pro owners, likely with various bug fixes and minor changes.

Since Apple Vision Pro has not been officially released to the general public, Apple has not disclosed information about when updates will be available or what they may contain. Until the evening of Tuesday, January 23, VisionOS remained at version 1.0 with internal build updates.

The VisionOS 1.0.1 update was first discovered by X user @nicolas09F9. This is build number 21N311, based on VisionOS 1.0 beta 7 build number 21N305.

Initial review units will likely be in the reviewer's hands soon, so the first day update will likely need to be delayed to resolve any immediate issues before critique. The update will be required on all devices when users receive it on February 2.
