The 40th Anniversary celebration continues with a website featuring photos of every Apple Mac ever made.
The site was created by Jonathan Zufi, author of the coffee table book ICONIC: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation. The site includes photos from the book as well as videos promoting the Mac …
Zufi says he hopes this will bring back people's memories.
To celebrate this milestone, mac40th.com is showcasing every Macintosh desktop and laptop Apple has ever made, plus hundreds of photographs taken as part of the ICONIC coffee table book: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation (3rd edition now available) current at the end of 2023). The site also features photos of Kevin Taylor, Forest McMullin and others (including videos) that I have collected over the past 14 years.
The site is easy to use: you will all see a continuous stream of random Macs – just keep clicking “Show me more Macs”; and that's what you get. If you're a hardcore Mac fan, this site should keep you busy for a very long time. If you see mislabeled products, don't be shy.
Steve Jobs said Apple's mission is to “create products that we are proud to sell and recommend to our customers.” family and friends.” People create stories, and our friends and family usually play a big role in those stories. Almost everyone reading this has a story about how a Mac came into being at some point in their lives. I hope these photos bring back fond memories of your personal experiences with the Macintosh over the past 40 years.
