A little over a year has passed since pre-orders opened, and the official worldwide release date for the long-awaited mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone has finally become known. Activision Publishing, which originally expected a May 2023 release, pushed the project to November 2023, but due to unexplained delays, the company also pushed back that deadline.
The new official release date is March 21st for iOS and Android, and is accompanied by a trailer revealing the new launch date. The game features Battle Royale modes, as well as traditional CoD modes such as Team Deathmatch and Domination, as well as classic maps.

The main map, Verdansk, will be limited to 120 players in the app instead of 150 like the original Warzone on consoles and desktop, but it retains the Gulag from previous versions. Revival Island will offer matches for up to 48 players.
Activision says more than 50 million people have already signed up Players who pre-order the game will unlock some bonus cosmetic items, including two weapon blueprints and an Operator skin for the Ghost.
It's unclear what this will mean for the existing Call of Duty: Mobile game in the long term. Microsoft, which owns Activision, has suggested that the old game may be discontinued.
