Apple today introduced the new Black Unity 2024 collection for Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad. This includes a new watch band, as well as a new watch face and wallpaper for the iOS lock screen.
The new Black Unity Sport Band is available to order today on Apple.com for $49. The new Unity Bloom watch face will be available next week in watchOS 10.3, and corresponding wallpapers for iPhone and iPad will appear in iOS 17.3.
The new collection features a floral theme depicting abstract images of flowers.
Apple says the new design represents Pan-Africanism and symbolizes the harmony of multiple generations working together to fight injustice.
The sporty band is black with vibrant colors scattered throughout the band. depicting red, green and yellow shades. Each strip is unique due to a special unique layering process during production. The group's badge features the words “Truth, Strength, Solidarity.” engraved it on it.
The strap is available for 41mm and 45mm watches in typical sizes S/M and M/L. You can order the new band today, and it will be available at Apple retail stores starting January 23.
The matching Apple Watch face features a new analog watch face adorned with the same abstract colors. Users can choose between single flower or full bloom styles. When you lift your wrist, the flowers open and fill out. watchOS 10.3 requires Apple Watch Series 4 or later.
The new Unity Bloom wallpaper for iPhone and iPad behaves similarly and features a variety of colors. When locked, the wallpaper appears as thin outlines. When the display wakes up, the wallpaper colors appear. The wallpaper will be part of the upcoming iOS 17.3 update, which will be released next week.
