Canada and the UK are preparing for the first international rollout of Vision Pro – Gurman

We expect the first phase of international rollout of Vision Pro to occur shortly after WWDC, and there have been indications of some specific countries. Canada and the UK are said to be now on the list after some uncertainty previously existed.

There are currently a number of clues about Apple's plans for the next countries in line for launch after the US. …

Previous Pointers to International Rollout of Vision Pro

Perhaps the strongest pointer to an imminent launch is that Apple is beginning the process of training Vision Pro for store employees in other countries. The latest report, published a week ago, mentioned seven countries:

  • Australia
  • China
  • France
  • Germany
  • li>

  • Japan
  • Singapore
  • South Korea

Other reports have mentioned some of the same countries. Back in March, for example, there were three such vacancies in the vacancy lists.

Another major clue, also from March, was VisionOS code with a virtual keyboard and autocorrect feature for 12 languages. There was some overlap here – for example, Japan was listed twice as “English (Japan)” and “English (Japan)”. and “Japanese” – thus indicating nine countries:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • China
  • France
  • Germany
  • Japan
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Great Britain

Two additional countries in this list are in bold.

Canada and UK confirmed by Gurman

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman tweeted confirmation over the weekend that Canada and the UK will indeed be among the next countries in queues.

Canada, UK and Singapore are also among the first Apple Vision Extensions Pro.

9to5Mac's Take

Canada and UK usually included in the list of countries to see new products after the US, so it always seemed likely, but it's certainly nice to have confirmation beyond keyboard languages.

Sounds like this: Gourmet has now got confirmation that training personnel is carried out in two more countries – Canada and the UK. We've also independently learned that store staff in the UK have been invited to receive Vision Pro training.

Personally, I'll be very surprised if I find that it offers me enough value to keep it, but I'm looking forward to the opportunity try this.
