Apple will announce the winners of the 2024 Swift Student Challenge on March 28

As part of today's WWDC 2024 announcement, Apple said it plans to announce the winners of this year's Swift Student Challenge on Thursday, March 28th. The annual Swift Student Challenge challenges students to create an innovative programming project using Swift Playgrounds. app.


Although Apple usually launches the Swift Student Challenge when WWDC dates are announced, the Company launched competition in advance to give students more time to work on their projects.

Entries were accepted from February 5 to 25 and are now closed.

Apple selects 350 winners for the 2024 competition, all from who will be eligible to attend a special WWDC event on June 10 at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. To be eligible to participate, winners will need to enter a sweepstakes.

Apple will also select 50 honorary winners recognized for “outstanding work.” Honorary winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience that will include viewing special event programming and other activities.

Swift Student Challenge winners will be informed by email if they have won later this week. . Projects are judged based on technical achievement, creativity of ideas, and the content of written responses explaining the project.
