A rare Apple Computer business card signed by Steve Jobs recently sold at auction for $181,183, according to Boston-based RR Auction.

The card is dated 1983 and has been verified by renowned memorabilia grading service PSA, according to the auction sheet. It features the old six-color Apple logo and also shows the company's former address: 10495 Bandley Drive in Cupertino, California. Jobs is listed as Apple's chairman.

RR Auction believes the sale set a new record price for a signed business card.

Jobs passed away in 2011. at the age of 56 years. Throughout his career, he was reluctant to sign autographs, so items bearing his signature often sell for large sums of money. For example, last year a check signed by Jobs was sold at auction for more than $100,000.
