Following the release of the M3 MacBook Air line in early March, an iPad update covering the new iPad Pro and iPad Air models is rumored to release on March 26th.

Spring Launch rumors originally reported this event, but Apple's website and MacBook Air update based on the press release have proven this theory partially wrong. While there are erroneous rumors that the iPads will arrive around the same time, they could still arrive before the end of March.

In a Weibo post on Monday morning, serial leaker “Setsuna Digital” re-posted another “Boss Hookup” leak teasing the possibility of an iPad launch on March 26th. The linked post is one of a number of third Party Cases for the 2024 iPad Air and iPad Pro models on Amazon, which will be on shelves from this date.

IT House made a similar connection after being alerted to Amazon listings for accessories shipping on March 26 .

Although he didn't give a specific date, the rumors line up with a March 10 Bloomberg newsletter from Mark Gurman, who said the iPad update is still expected by the end of March or April.

Gurman added that a potential iPadOS 17 update could arrive around the same time as the launch.

Setsuna Digital has a significant following online and has been involved in rumors about several devices, but does not have much experience when it comes to Apple hardware. However, March 26 seems likely since it's a Tuesday and Apple often releases products on that day of the week.

The iPad update is expected to include iPad Pro and iPad Air models, an updated Magic Keyboard and a new Apple Pencil. Rumored feature changes include OLED on the iPad Pro and shifting the FaceTime camera to a longer side on all models to match the tenth generation iPad.
