Today, TikTok announced the release of an app for the Apple Vision Pro headset. The app is optimized for VisionOS's spatial design style, and TikTok promises a more “immersive” viewing experience for short videos.
“Experience your For You channel in a whole new way with this immersive content viewing experience,” TikTok says on social network X, formerly known as Twitter.
The app features the familiar Vision Pro layout with a main video feed “For You”, as well as profiles, comments, search and much more. TikTok is available now on the Vision Pro App Store, and additional images of the app can be found below.
There are several other major apps for social media, video streaming, and music streaming. which are completely unavailable on Vision Pro, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Netflix, Spotify and WhatsApp. Meanwhile, developer Christian Selig has created a Juno app for watching YouTube videos on the Vision Pro.
