Luxury airline says it will give away Apple Vision Pro to select passengers

In an effort to improve in-flight entertainment, Beond will offer Apple Vision Pro to select customers on its flights.

Beond bills itself as the world's first “premium leisure airline” and offers its customers only business class accommodation. This includes fully reclining seats, gourmet meals, and for some passengers — Apple Vision Pro.

“Apple Vision Pro will redefine in-flight entertainment, and we will be the first to offer it to select passengers,” Beond CEO Tero Taskila said in a press statement.

“Offering Apple Vision Pro is another step in our commitment to providing our customers with a first-class travel experience from start to finish. We are proud to be the first airline to introduce this technology.”

While this seems like a great accommodation option for an airline, it is not without its drawbacks. Apple Vision Pro is typically customized by the customer at the time of purchase. Passengers may find that the provided Apple Vision Pro does not fit properly.

There is also some concern about cleaning headsets between buyers, a topic we covered in our review of Apple Vision Pro pro options.
